E.K.C. initials on the base of the balance beam.
The original box is in two pieces, but has the markings "Eastman Studio Scale".
This scale would have been produced during the 1900 Era.
A scale like this was used in preparing darkroom chemicals for developing film and prints.
This scale still works.
